Mock Orange Overview
Murraya paniculata is commonly known by the name Orange Jessamine. This evergreen plant is a small, tropical to subtropical, evergreen tree or shrub, grown for its foliage, scented flowers and ornamental fruits. Dark green, glossy leaves make this shrub an attractive addition to plantings, even when not in flower. It produces large heads of sweetly scented white flowers, making it a very attractive shrub to have in the garden. It is a low maintenance plant that requires regular watering, place in full sun or light shade and may be grown in pots or used as hedging or screening.
