Silver Leaf Overview

Epipremnum amplissimum is often known by the names Silver Leaf, Pothos amplifolia and Rhaphidophora amplissima. It is a medium-sized aroid from the Araceae family. Growing naturally up trees in the wild. Grown for the leaves over the flowers, which rarely occur in cultivation, it is an attractive foliage houseplant. The foliage is long and narrow, the leaves coloured green-blue to silver. Place in bright partial shade and a well-draining, airy soil mix for optimal growth, this plant will enjoy regular misting. You could also group it with other houseplants to increase the humidity or place on a pebble tray.
