White Laceflower Overview
Orlaya grandiflora is an annual species in the Apiaceae (parsley) family with finely dissected, feathery leaves. Upright, erect stems bear flattish, lacy umbels of pure white flowers. The outermost flowers are larger compared to those on the inside, creating a lacy effect, hence the common name White Laceflower. They are typically grown in cultivation for their long flowering season and they thrive in full sun and poor quality, well-drained soil. This plant has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
