Bellworts Overview

Native to deciduous woodlands of North America, these rhizomatous monocot relatives of the Lily are cultivated as damp shade-loving garden plants. They flower in Spring with yellow bell-shaped blooms with unusual twisted petals and pinnate leaves held on arching stems. They thrive on peaty soils.
