Potato 'Abbot' Overview

Solanum tuberosum 'Abbot' is a very early first early potato that has firm waxy flesh. Potato 'Abbot' can be harvested earlier than other first early varieties for new and salad potatoes. It has good disease resistance and produces large uniform oval 'spuds' if left to mature. These make good baking potatoes. Treat as an annual crop.
