Ozothamnus Overview

A genus of 53 recognised species of evergreen perennials or shrubs in the daisy family native to Australasia. They have small, aromatic leaves and tiny, white, yellow or pink sprays of flowers. A number of species are grown as garden plants including O. rosmarinifolius, named for the similarity of its leaves and scent to rosemary plants. They prefer a well-drained soil in full sun and some species are best grown under glass to protect from frosts and winter wet.
