Cowberry Overview

This is a vigorous evergreen prostrate shrub about 15-30cm high. The small dark green, leathery leaves which will become bronzed in the winter. The flowers are bell-shaped, white, tinged pink, and are borne in short terminal racemes during the summer. The globular red berries are produced in late autumn, are edible but acidic to the taste.
