Willow Leafed Sweet Box Overview
Sarcococca saligna is an evergreen shrub in the Buxaceae family. It is also commonly known by the name Willow-Leaf Sweet Box. This compact plant typically grows to around 1m in height, it has lance-shaped glossy leaves up to 13cm long. These are borne on upright, arching stems and this plant produces small green-white, slightly scented flowers in the winter. Flowers lead onto purple berry fruits.

Semi-hardwood cuttings best taken in late summer.
Sow seed in autumn or spring.
