Yellow-stemmed dogwood Overview
An upright deciduous perennial shrub native to East-North America. Spreads into large clumps. Oval to lanceolate leaves are dark green falling a brilliant bright red and the tree remains red through winter as stems and branches are also reddish in colour. Single flowers are reddish dull white and appear in mid summer along side reddish fruit.

Propagate from seed or rooted layers struck in a moist sand-peat mixture.
By hardwood cuttings in winter.
