Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Raven' is an evergreen perennial cultivar in the arum family, Araceae that produces interesting, smooth, shiny, black leaves. This cultivar is a popular choice as a houseplant due to its ease of care, tolerance of low light levels and ability to withstand drought and for its air-purifying qualities. Over time they spread and fill the pot. One or two green and white, arum-like flowers may appear among the leaf bases in summer, which can develop into white berries.
