Persian Cyclamen Overview
Cyclamen persicum is a deciduous, tuberous perennial from the Primulaceae family. Commonly known by the name Persian Cyclamen, it is a common garden plant, grown for the attractive flowers and foliage. It may be winter or spring flowering, typically blooms appear at a height of between 10-20cm. It produces upswept white or pink, scented flowers that are borne on tall, slender stems above the leaves. Its leaves are an attractive, heart-shape with silver markings above and a purplish-green below.
