We've visited here many times over the years as it has so much to offer. Ponds teeming with fish and birds, a great place to take the kids to feed the ducks, swans and geese. Wonderful gardens with beautiful trees and flowers, woodland walks and fantastic historic sights. Play areas for the kids and the house itself is spectacular. My boys always enjoyed the cannon and the statues of the dogs in the garden and of course the giant urn and golden gates up the Scots Mile. Parking is only £2 and free after 6pm for the grounds.

A beautiful manor house and grounds. We took the guided tour and were impressed with all there was to hear and see - the morning room was particularly lovely. Unfortunately photography was not allowed inside. There is a lift inside to provide accessibility for those who struggle with stairs. The gardens were also very pretty with organised flower beds arranged by colour.

Well worth a visit. The gardens in front of the house were looking fantastic. What a difference since the last time we saw them. The grounds are excellent for walking and watching the wildlife.

Beautiful gardens and woodland trails to walk around. A couple of nice play areas for the kids. Knowledgeable guides if you decide to visit the inside of the house too.
Lovely buildings and attached facilities. Those speedbumps put people off, though. We won't be returning due to the long, arduous journey up the long driveway. We understand the need for them, however perhaps something like chicanes would be better.
