Growing Information
Sow thinly in a tray using a good quality compost and cover with a thin layer of vermiculite. Seal the tray in a clear plastic bag and keep on a sunny windowsill at 15-20ºC, do not exclude light as this helps germination. (Germination 1-3 months). When big enough to handle, pot on into individual 7.5cm (3") pots and gradually acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out after the last frost at 30cm (12") spacings. Alternatively, sow September-October and overwinter in a cold frame or cold greenhouse and plant out the following spring.
