How to grow our Showstopper flyer
1. Select a seedtray
One Candide flyer fits easily in a half seed tray, which can be grown on a windowsill.
2. Fill your seed tray
Use good quality compost making sure to remove lumps.
3. Press it gently
Make sure the compost is evenly filling the seed tray and press gently.
4. Prepare water to soak the flyer
The paper needs soaking to make sure the seeds can start their amazing journey to germination.
5. Don't leave them too long
Gently drop the flyer into water and keep an eye on it. You do not want to over soak it.
6. Carefully remove
At this stage the seed impregnated paper is very delicate so carefully remove and prepared seed tray.
7. Place the soaked flyer on the tray
Make sure that all of the flyer is in contact with the compost.
8. Cover with compost
Sieve or cover the flyer with compost, this will keep it moist and allow the seeds to germinate.
9. Compost covered flyer
Seeds all settled in and now the excitement can begin.
10. Water and wait and see
Water gently with a watering can and a fine rose. Place the seed tray in a greenhouse or on a windowsill.
