1. Go forage!

Collect plant material that will bend easily without breaking. We made use of Slangbos (Seriphium plumosum) but there are a number of other plants that one will find that can work really well. Weaving grass is even an option.

2. Make a frame.

Start with one of the longer shoots that you harvested. and bend it into a circle whilst weaving it over and above until you reached your desired size. See this size as the maximum width of your nest.

3. Shape and build your nest.

Now is the time to rope in all the smaller pieces that you foraged! Starting at a new spot every time, start weaving in the pieces one at a time to form the base and overall shape of the nest. Keep adding to the shape until you've reached your desired size whilst the nest still feels snug and cozy.

4. Add your easter eggs!

This is the best part - adding those sweet surprises with which you will spoil your loved ones or yourself! Happy Easter!
