1. Volcanic Rock Dust

Firstly start off with your compost and add a spoonful of volcanic rock dust. This is great for adding minerals to the compost to help plants grow stronger and quicker.

2. Vermiculite

Next add a scoop of vermiculite, this helps to hold moisture in the soil.

3. Mix It

Mix it all together thoroughly.

4. Fill The Trays

Fill the seed trays with the compost mix and scrap the extra off the tops.

5. Firm The Compost

Make sure to firm the compost into their trays to make sure there are no spaces left.

6. Water

Water the trays enough to soak them through.

7. Dib Holes For The Seeds

Use your finger or anything small to make small holes where you will place your seeds.

8. Sow Your Seeds

Sow your seeds.

9. Cover The Holes

Use the left over compost mix that you have to cover over the top of the seeds.

10. Label

Make sure to label your trays so that you know what plants you've sown.
