Sun 5th Apr + 2 more
A photographic exhibition of the work of Dutch artist Carla van de Puttelaar, entitled Adornments, will be on display at the Fox Talbot Museum at Lacock, from 25 January to 12 July 2020 ‘Adornments’ was inspired by the work of the Dutch Old Masters, particularly Rembrandt’s nudes. This is shown in their use of colour and light, and portrayal of textures and surfaces. The exhibition’s title comes from an Ian McEwan quote, referring to nature’s ‘adornments’ – freckles, moles and skin’s individualities. Please note: This photographic exhibition does contain nudity
