This new exhibition of portraits, from Croome’s own collection and on loan from private collections depicts the history of the Coventry family from the turn of the seventeenth-century through to the present day. With works from famous painters including Allan Ramsay and Joshua Reynolds, alongside a brand new commission from local artist Antony Bridge – The Coventry’s and Art will look at 400 years of history, from Thomas, 1st Baron Coventry through to the current 13th Earl, George William Coventry. The exhibition includes contemporary artworks of the landscape of Croome by artist Lincoln Taber, a member of the Coventry family. His work will be for sale throughout the exhibition.
